These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using Super English ("the App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Pricing and usage:
Every feature of the app is available free of charge. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Conversation sessions are managed with conversation tickets. A number of free tickets is granted each day, and when you run out you can watch a rewarded video ad to receive additional tickets (subject to a daily limit).
The number of tickets granted, the daily limit and the number of exchanges one ticket covers may change as the service evolves. Please check the current figures shown in the app.
Account Registration and Management
You must use a valid email address to create an account
Up to two accounts may be registered per device
Keep your password secure and do not share it with third parties
Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App.
How to delete: Settings → Account → "Delete account" → type "DELETE" to confirm
Effective immediately: after a deletion request, login becomes impossible right away
Anonymization of personal information: your email address, username, and display name are anonymized immediately
Restoration: a deleted account cannot be restored. Please proceed with care
Deletion cannot be undone. Please review your learning data before deleting.
Prohibited Conduct
Generating or sharing illegal or harmful content
Unauthorized access to or hacking of the App's systems
Mass access using automated tools or bots
Unauthorized commercial use or repurposing
Reverse-engineering the App
If you violate these prohibitions, we may suspend or delete your account without notice.
Use of AI Services and Consent
The app uses the following third-party services:
OpenAI large language models (GPT series): generating replies, grammar correction, and use of your learning context
On-device speech recognition: English voice input is first converted to text using your device's own speech recognition. This runs entirely on your device and the audio is not sent anywhere
OpenAI Whisper: used only when on-device recognition fails, and for voice input in your native language
Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: synthesizing the spoken audio of the AI's replies (OpenAI text-to-speech may be used as a fallback during outages)
Before any conversation text or audio is sent to these services, we obtain your explicit consent via a checkbox on a dedicated screen after your first sign-in. No data is sent without that consent.
You can review or change your consent at any time from Settings → "Legal" → "AI data sharing consent"
If you withdraw consent, AI conversation, warm-up, grammar correction and speech recognition become unavailable immediately
The AI models and providers listed above may change depending on service quality, cost and availability. We will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy if there is a material change.
AI responses are a study aid for learning English and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
Advertising
To keep the service free, the app displays ads from Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of some screens, a full-screen ad between sessions, and rewarded video ads that you choose to watch.
The app always requests non-personalized ads only. It does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA)
Watching rewarded video is optional. Watching one grants you conversation tickets, but you can use the app with the free tickets granted each day without watching any ad
Conversation tickets are an in-app usage allowance only. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or refunded, and they carry no cash or other monetary value
Tickets are granted on the basis that they are used the same day (a small number of special tickets do carry over)
Tapping an ad takes you to an external website. We are not responsible for the content of, or any transaction on, external sites
If tickets are obtained by improper means, we may revoke those tickets and suspend the account
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI English correction, the continuous operation of the service, or the achievement of any specific learning outcomes.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If you continue to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to these Terms.
