These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using Super English ("the App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

About the free service:
All features of the App are completely free to use (up to 50 sessions per month). The session count resets on the 1st of each month.
Account Registration and Management
You must use a valid email address to create an account
Up to two accounts may be registered per device
Keep your password secure and do not share it with third parties
Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App.
How to delete: Settings → Account → "Delete account" → type "DELETE" to confirm
Effective immediately: after a deletion request, login becomes impossible right away
Anonymization of personal information: your email address, username, and display name are anonymized immediately
Restoration: a deleted account cannot be restored. Please proceed with care
Deletion cannot be undone. Please review your learning data before deleting.
Prohibited Conduct
Generating or sharing illegal or harmful content
Unauthorized access to or hacking of the App's systems
Mass access using automated tools or bots
Unauthorized commercial use or repurposing
Reverse-engineering the App
If you violate these prohibitions, we may suspend or delete your account without notice.
Use of AI Services and Consent
The App uses the following third-party AI services:
OpenAI GPT-4o: conversation generation, grammar correction, and use of learning context
OpenAI Whisper: converting speech to text
OpenAI TTS: synthesizing speech from text
Before sending conversation text or voice data to these services, we obtain your explicit consent by checkbox on a dedicated screen within the App after first login. No data is sent to OpenAI without your consent.
You can review or change your consent at any time from Settings → "Legal" → "AI data sharing consent"
If you withdraw consent, features such as AI conversation, warm-up, grammar correction, and speech recognition become unavailable immediately
AI responses are an aid for English learning and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
Advertising
The App may display A8.net affiliate advertisements. Tapping an ad takes you to an external service's website.
Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI English correction, the continuous operation of the service, or the achievement of any specific learning outcomes.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If you continue to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute relating to these Terms.
